Thomas C. Prescott, Jr. serves as Managing Member of Advisory Services Network, LLC, a strategic RIA partner providing operational, regulatory, and legal infrastructure to Valoren Smarte Wealth Advisers. With more than 38 years of experience in the financial services industry and consulting, Mr. Prescott brings a depth of institutional knowledge and strategic perspective that underpins the firm’s operational integrity and compliance framework.
Mr. Prescott began his career in 1980 with Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb, Inc., where he developed and managed both retail and institutional client relationships, delivering investment guidance across portfolio management, asset allocation, equities, fixed income, options, limited partnerships, and related investment strategies. In 1987, he founded Prescott & Associates, a consulting firm providing comprehensive advisory services to broker-dealers, investment advisers, banks, asset managers, pension plans, corporations, and securities counsel. Prescott & Associates later merged with a complementary firm to form Mainstay Capital Markets Consultants, Inc., expanding its reach and capabilities within the industry.
While leading Mainstay, Mr. Prescott founded Advisory Services Network, LLC (“ASN”), a Registered Investment Adviser with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. ASN now serves as a strategic partner to Valoren Smarte Wealth Advisers, delivering institutional-grade operational support, regulatory oversight, and legal infrastructure designed to enable scalable, compliant, and client-focused advisory services.
